Shipping, Packaging & Returns
Our normal processing time is 1-2 business days. We know you're excited to get your soap so we do everything we can to get it to you quickly. You will receive a shipment email with a USPS Priority Mail tracking number when your order is ready to ship.
All orders of 2 or more bars will be boxed & shipped via USPS Priority Mail (1-3 days) for a flat rate of $8.50.
Orders containing only 1 bar will be shipped USPS First Class for $4.50
Please take special note that we are not responsible for a package that has been shown delivered by the USPS but is missing to you. Porch/Mail theft is becoming more and more prevalent and it is not the responsibility of Mountain Goat Soap Company or the USPS to replace or reimburse for missing packages. If you believe your package is legitimately missing via the USPS, please contact your local post office as they are best equipped to locate your package.
The provided tracking information and delivery verification by the USPS is not to just remove ourselves from liability but is the result of the fact that we have no recourse to resolve the situation financially. Production at our level is very costly and the time and effort we put into the business is very valuable. We will do anything in our power to resolve any and all situations and work on your behalf with the USPS to resolve any situation that may arise.
Our packaging reflects our philosophy of simple but clean & effective presentation. We choose to invest in the highest quality soap ingredients instead of fancy packaging to keep the cost of our soaps affordable for every day use. All soaps are packaged in environmentally friendly individual paper soap boxes with a window so you can peek at & smell the soap. They are labeled with the name of the soap, fragrance & specific ingredients.
The individual boxes are packed in a larger sturdy box with tissue and crinkle paper if needed. Personalized gift messages are available at no additional charge.
Due to safety concerns and the nature of personal care items, we are not able to resell any item after it has been shipped to a customer. Because of this, we DO NOT ACCEPT returns. Please be sure about your purchase prior to placing your order. If an order has not shipped yet, we are happy to work with you to adjust any order if needed.
